Opening partner Shafali Vermar supplied a rapid 48 off 29 balls, marked by three fours and three sixes, helping the pair compile a 99‑run opening stand. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur added 19 runs before being dismissed.

The lower order saw Richa Ghosh blaze through the final overs, making 49 runs off 22 balls without losing her wicket, striking six fours and three sixes. Her partnership with Bharati Fulmali contributed a quickfire 53 runs for the fourth wicket.

The innings featured a total of 13 sixes, breaking the previous Indian record of 12 set against Hong Kong in 2023. The commanding performance secured the gold medal and marked the highest T20I total for India in Asian Games history.
