Glasgow’s Commonwealth Games continued with Sanjay Sivach’s clean sweep of the men’s 60 kg quarter‑final, where he outpointed Treasure Moremi of Botswana by a 5‑0 margin. The first two rounds saw unanimous decisions for Sivach; a single judge sided with Moremi in the third round, but the remaining four judges kept the score in Sivach’s favor.

The win guarantees Sivach a place in the semi‑finals and keeps his gold‑medal hopes alive. He becomes the sixth Indian boxer to enter the last four of his division, joining Preeti (54 kg), Priya (60 kg women’s), Jadumani Singh (55 kg), Sakshi (51 kg women’s) and Arundhati Chaudhary (51 kg women’s).
