Siddiqui predicts BJP setback in Uttar Pradesh elections, backs secular alliance

Commenting on the Uttar Pradesh election build‑up, Siddiqui said the BJP’s internal decision to appoint Vinod Tiwari as an election observer is a matter for the party alone. He expressed confidence that the ruling formation would not secure a majority in the upcoming assembly polls. According to Siddiqui, a coalition of the Samajwadi Party, the Congress, and other secular forces could combine to dislodge the BJP and the Yogi Adityanath government from power.
