Shikhar Dhawan, the left-handed opener of the Delhi Capitals, will have a chance to get the Orange Cap for all-round runs in IPL-13. Shikhar had scored a brilliant 78 against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Sunday in Qualifier 2 and completed 600 runs in the tournament. Shikhar now has 603 runs in 16 matches and he is second behind Lokesh Rahul of Kings XI Punjab in terms of scoring the most runs.
Punjab captain Rahul scored 670 runs in 14 matches. If playing another big innings against Mumbai Indians in the summit finals gives the team the title for the first time, then they can also get the Orange Cap. There is a 67-run gap between him and Rahul. In the final, three players from Mumbai, Ishaan Kishan, Kinton De Kock and Surya Kumar Yadav will have a chance to complete 500 runs in the tournament. Kishan has 483, D Cock has 483 and Suryakumar has 461 runs.
