Serbian Shooter Kristina Trifunovic Wins Gold as India Claims Two Podium Spots

The women’s 10 m air rifle SH1 final was highlighted by a narrow victory for 22‑year‑old Serbian athlete Kristina Trifunovic, who topped the podium with 250.2 points. Indian shooters Monika Agrawal and Avni Lekhra followed, taking silver and bronze respectively.

Trifunovic’s gold marked a significant achievement for Serbia, while India celebrated a double‑medal performance that bolsters its standing ahead of the Los Angeles 2028 Paralympics. The event, part of the larger Changwon 2026 WSPS World Championship, offered 24 quota slots – 13 for men and 11 for women – with the top two athletes in each medal event earning a place for their country if not yet qualified.
