Scant 12.2 Overs Saw South Africa 20 Runs

Only a handful of overs were possible on Sunday at St George's Park. Eden Markram opened the innings and contributed a quick boundary before being dismissed for 11. A partnership of eight runs between captain Temba Bavuma and Marcus Erasmus was broken by another wicket that fell to Scott Boland. By the time the rain returned, South Africa had scraped together just 20 runs for the loss of two wickets.

The visitors will aim to exploit the early momentum once conditions improve.
