SC Delhi Leads Early but Bengaluru FC Stages Comeback

Sporting Club Delhi took an early 2‑1 lead against Bengaluru FC in the season‑opening fixture, capitalising on a defensive slip from Menon. Bengaluru responded with relentless pressure, and Borja Martínez scored the opener in the 22nd minute. Delhi equalised shortly after, but Menon's own‑goal restored their advantage. Martínez struck again in the 75th minute, and a late cross from Soham Varshney found Menon, whose header in injury time completed Bengaluru's comeback.
