Sardar Singh named league ambassador for first CGL season

Veteran field‑hockey star Sardar Singh has been appointed as the official league ambassador for the first season of the Chhattisgarh Hockey League. Singh, one of India’s most decorated players, will promote the tournament, engage with fans, and mentor young athletes throughout the campaign.

His involvement underscores the league’s ambition to raise the profile of hockey in the state and to inspire the next generation of players. Singh will attend opening ceremonies, interact with media, and participate in community outreach programs aimed at encouraging school‑level participation in the sport.
