Indian batsman Rohit Sharma passed the fitness test on Friday before the four-Test series against Australia starting on 17 December. Rohit passed the test at Bangalore’s National Cricket Academy (NCA).
During the Indian Premier League, Rohit had a hamstring injury that prevented him from being part of the limited-overs squad during the tour of Australia. Due to isolation rules in Australia due to Corona virus, he will not be available for the first two Tests but he can be a part of the team in the last two Tests.
There are reports that Rohit will leave for Australia on December 14, after which he will be in isolation. He can be allowed to train and he can be seen playing in the third and fourth Test matches.
A senior source of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) said on condition of confidentiality, “Rohit has passed the fitness test and he will be flying to Australia soon.” She goes. He has so far played 32 Tests in addition to playing 224 ODIs, 108 T20 Internationals.
