The Merrut Mavericks, captained by Rinku Singh, lifted the 2026 Uttar Pradesh T20 League trophy after a comprehensive 94‑run win against the Lucknow Falcons.

After a solid start, the Mavericks posted 204 runs in their allotted 20 overs, thanks largely to Divyansh Joshi’s blazing 105 from 40 balls. The innings featured 12 fours and 7 sixes.

Lucknow’s response was dismal. The top order fell early with Himansh Singh and Aradhya Yadav each scoring just five runs. The side was eventually bowled out for 109.

Vishal Chaudhary spearheaded the bowling attack, returning figures of 4‑0‑24‑4. Gitan Ansari also claimed two wickets, ensuring the Falcons could not mount a comeback.

This triumph adds a second league title to the Mavericks’ record, the first earned in 2024.
