Ridhima Dilawari Leads WPGT Order of Merit After Sixth Leg Triumph

Ridhima Dilawari’s consistency on the Women’s Professional Golf Tour has paid off with a commanding lead in the Order of Merit. The Indian golfer clinched her third title of the season at the sixth leg held at JP Vishtown Golf Course.

Starting the round with two consecutive bogeys, Dilawari rebounded spectacularly, carding a 71 in the third round. She then proceeded to birdie each of the remaining 16 holes, while her nearest rival Jasmine Shekhar posted a 75 and finished the day with a bogey.

Both players arrived at the 18th tee tied at even par, but Dilawari’s steady par secured the win as Shekhar fell short. The victory adds to Dilawari’s earlier triumphs in the second and fourth legs, reinforcing her position at the top of the Hero Order of Merit.

Jasmine Shekhar, the winner of the first leg, now sits second in the standings, and AmanDeep Dral holds third place. The standings reflect a tightly packed season, with eight events already completed and a field that regularly exceeds 50 competitors, including ten amateurs.
