Manav Suthar entered the record books as the youngest Indian under 28 to claim ten wickets in a single Test, doing so at 24 years and 16 days. His figures placed him sixth among Indian bowlers to achieve a ten‑wicket match against Sri Lanka, a group that includes legends like Anil Kumble, Harbhajan Singh, Manoj Singh, Venkata Raju and Ravichandran Ashwin. Suthar also became the seventh Indian spinner to take ten wickets on foreign soil.
