RDC Secures Bowling Firepower with Vassim, Shah, Thikshana for Inaugural T10
The Royal Desert Champions have announced a powerful bowling contingent ahead of the first Abu Dhabi T10 league. Director Robin Singh confirmed the signings of fast bowler Mohammad Wasim, teenage sensation Naseem Shah and seasoned pacer Mahesh Theekshana. The trio brings a blend of pace, swing and experience that Singh believes will be decisive in the high‑scoring T10 format.
Supporting the attack are former international bowlers Dushmantha Chameera, Chris Jordan and Luke Wood, each adding depth and versatility. Singh highlighted that the team’s strategy revolves around a robust bowling core, noting that tournaments of this nature are often won by the side that can restrict runs and pick wickets at crucial moments.
Captain Nicholas Pooran will marshal the batting lineup, while franchise owner Amit Narang reiterated the vision of building a resilient, ambitious brand that reflects the unforgiving yet inspiring desert landscape. The combination of elite bowlers and dynamic overseas batters positions RDC as a strong contender for the inaugural title.
