RCB vs SRH IPL 2025: In the 65th match of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) performed brilliantly and defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by 42 runs. The match was played at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium in Lucknow.
Batting first after losing the toss, Hyderabad scored a huge score of 231 runs for 6 wickets in 20 overs. For the team, wicketkeeper batsman Ishaan Kishan scored an unbeaten 94 off 48 balls, in which he hit 7 fours and 5 sixes. Ishaan’s innings brought RCB bowlers to the backfoot completely.
Apart from Ishaan, Abhishek Sharma contributed 34, Aniket Verma 26 and Heinrich Klassen contributed 24 runs. Captain Pat Cummins remained unbeaten till the end. For Bengaluru, Romario Shepherd took the most 2 wickets, while Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Lungi Engidi and Krunal Pandya got one success each.
In response, RCB’s team was all out for 189 runs in 19.5 overs. Opener Phil Salt scored 62 runs while Virat Kohli scored an important innings of 43 runs, but the team remained far away from the target. SRH captain Pat Cummins broke Bangalore’s back with 3 wickets, while Harshal Patel and Ishaan Malinga got 2-2 wickets.
