Raja Endorses New Super Seven Format for 2027 World Cup

The captain praised the newly proposed tournament structure that introduces a ‘Super Seven’ stage. According to the plan, three lower‑ranked teams will compete in an opening round, with the winner joining the top eleven nations that are split into two groups of six. After the group phase, the competition moves to knockout matches following the Super Seven round. Raja expressed enthusiasm for the format, noting that it rewards teams that perform well by giving them more matches in the World Cup.
