Punjab Takes Bronze After Dominant Win Over Jharkhand

The third‑place playoff saw Punjab display attacking flair to beat Jharkhand 6‑3 and secure the bronze medal.

Gurvinder Singh opened the scoring in the 11th minute, giving Punjab an early edge. Captain Jarman Singh added a brace in quick succession at the 34th and 36th minutes.

Further goals from Charanjeet Singh in the 52nd and 53rd minutes, and a strike by Ajaypal Singh in the 41st minute, completed the tally.

Jharkhand’s Patras Hassa managed a hat‑trick with goals at 33, 40 and 56 minutes, but the effort fell short as Punjab comfortably sealed the bronze spot.
