Pratika Rawat replaces injured Jamima Rodrigues in upcoming Asia Cup squad

Following the injury to Jamima Rodrigues, the BCCI announced Pratika Rawat as the new addition to India’s women’s squad for the ACC Women’s Asia Cup. Rawat brings a solid domestic record and international exposure, having played 27 ODIs and contributed over 1,100 runs.

She missed India’s historic Lord’s Test win in July due to a knee injury sustained while fielding, but she is now cleared to join the team for the tournament that starts on 30 August against Thailand, followed by matches against Hong Kong‑China, Pakistan and others at the Dubai International Stadium.
