Pat Cummins predicts limited unrest as old controversy looms

Ahead of the Durban Test series, Pat Cummins told listeners that the team anticipates only moderate tension, describing the upcoming tour as less chaotic than an Ashes series but still vulnerable to some fan anger.

The side still features the six Sandpaper Gate players – Starc, Cummins, Hazlewood, Lyon, Smith and Renshaw – and will open with Travis Head and Renshaw. Injuries to Cameron Green and Josh Inglis have left gaps, prompting discussions about swapping Kuhnemann for Lyon on a dry surface.
