Parinaz Dhaliwal, Raiza Dhillon and Maheshwari Chauhan Secure Bronze

The Asian Games 2026 witnessed a landmark achievement for Indian shooting as Parinaz Dhaliwal, Raiza Dhillon and Maheshwari Chauhan earned a bronze medal in the women's skeet team event.

Scoring 331 points across the qualification stage, the Indian trio outperformed several strong contenders, finishing behind the Chinese gold medalists (347 points) and the Kazakhstani silver medalists (336 points).

President Droupadi Murmu posted a congratulatory note, highlighting the athletes' dedication and expressing confidence in their future successes. Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya also sent his best wishes, celebrating the historic podium finish.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiran Rijiju added his support, describing the medal as a new record for Indian women's skeet shooting.

The athletes bring regional diversity: Maheshwari Chauhan hails from Rajasthan, Raiza Dhillon from Chandigarh, and Parinaz Dhaliwal from Punjab, each known for expertise in various skeet formats.
