During an interview, Parag ventured into cross‑sport speculation, stating that Manchester City striker Erling Haaland possesses the physical attributes required for cricket – height, strength and agility – and could potentially make an impact with a bat. He also highlighted teammate Jofra Archer’s enthusiasm for football, saying Archer’s pace and athleticism would serve him well on the football pitch. "If Haaland ever tried cricket, I think he would do well. Likewise, Archer could become a fine footballer," Parag added.
