Eight Teams to Battle for PSL Title in March‑May 2027

The twelfth edition of the Pakistan Super League will feature eight franchises competing for the trophy. The new line‑up includes the two additions from the previous season – Hyderabad Kingsmen and Rawalpindi Jaguars – joining Islamabad United, Karachi Kings, Lahore Qalandars, Multan Sultans, Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators. PCB officials emphasized that maintaining the March‑May window will test both commercial revenue streams and player availability, given the simultaneous IPL schedule. Chairman Mohsin Naqvi and CEO Salman Naseer both expressed confidence that the expanded field will deliver more excitement for the millions of supporters counting down to the opening match.
