Pakistan’s opening pair see major ranking boosts in Dubai women’s ODI series

The Dubai series proved rewarding for Pakistan’s top order. In addition to Sidra Ameen’s surge, opening batter Gul Firouza advanced 18 places to settle at 54th in the ICC Women’s ODI batting list. Across the board, Pakistan’s spin department also benefitted: off‑spinner Umm-e‑Hani leapt 11 spots to 53rd in the bowling rankings, and fellow spinner Sayeeda Aruob Shah matched the same rise, moving to 63rd place.
