NZ Cricket offers casual contracts to players seeking franchise leagues

Beyond Chapman, several other New Zealand stars have embraced the casual contract model. Fast bowler Finn Allen, spinner Lockie Ferguson, batting specialist Adam Milne and left‑arm pacer Tim Seifert have all signed similar agreements, giving them the freedom to chase opportunities in leagues such as the IPL, CPL and BBL.
