The decision comes after a disappointing two-year tenure with Uttar Pradesh, where the left-handed batter struggled to find his form. Having previously captained Delhi, Rana's comeback is viewed as a move to revitalize his career, as stated by his childhood coach, Sanjay Bhardwaj.
