New Coach Pedro Emmanuel Takes Charge as Vasco Strengthens Squad

Vasco da Gama appointed Pedro Emmanuel as head coach this month, signing him to a contract that runs through December 2027. Formerly at clubs such as Cumbia, Estoril, Almeria, Al Ain and Al Nassr, the 51‑year‑old replaces Renato Gaucho, who was dismissed after a series of poor results. Emmanuel will be assisted by Rui Gomes and Pedro Corea. The coaching staff is set to begin daily training duties on Saturday and hold their first press conference on Monday.
