Mumbai vs Haryana: Mushir Khan's Historic Double
Mumbai's Mushir Khan has etched his name into the record books with a remarkable all-round show on the third day of the Ranji Trophy 2026-27 Group D fixture against Haryana.
With the bat, Mushir made 109 off 185 balls. With the ball, he produced a spell of 31 overs in which he took 6 wickets while conceding 85 runs.
He is the first Mumbai player of the 21st century to score a hundred and take five or more wickets in the same Ranji Trophy match. The previous Mumbai player to do so was Ravi Shastri, during the 1990-91 Ranji season. Mushir has now repeated that feat after 35 years.

Haryana were bowled out for 270 in their first innings, with Tanush Kotian claiming three wickets.
Following on, Haryana have lost two wickets while getting to 73 in the second innings. Mushir has also taken a wicket in this innings.
Mumbai have been outstanding in the tournament so far. They defeated Chandigarh by an innings and 155 runs in their first match and beat Himachal Pradesh by an innings and 97 runs. Haryana still trail by 87 runs on the first-innings lead, and Mumbai are moving towards another big victory.
