Meta lawyer cites inaccessible URLs in Sharma's online defamation suit

Representing Meta, lawyer Varun Pathak informed the bench that two of the eight URLs submitted by Sharma could not be accessed. He added that one of the links hosted content that appeared to be a paper upload, which might not fall under personality rights. The counsel further argued that the material was AI‑generated, suggesting that it may not be attributable to a real person and therefore might not be defamatory.
