Former Aston Villa star Martinez joins Chelsea as veteran goalkeeper

Chelsea Football Club confirmed on August 30 that Argentine international Emiliano Martinez has signed a three‑year contract, ending his six‑year spell with Aston Villa. The 32‑year‑old goalkeeper featured in 213 games for Villa, helping the team secure the UEFA Europa League trophy and solidify their defensive record.
