Levante Bolsters Attack with Janis Musaui Signing Ahead of La Liga
Levante has completed the signing of Belgian forward Janis Musaui from Club Brugge, securing him on a five‑year deal reported to be worth around three million euros. The 19‑year‑old joins the Spanish side as they look to strengthen their forward line following the exit of Carlos Espi to Real Madrid.
Musaui’s background includes stints in the youth setups of AFC Tubize, FCV Dender, KAA Gent, KSC Lokeren and KMSK Dende. He broke into professional football with Dender in 2024 and later moved to Club Brugge, where he played for their reserve side, Club NXT, in the Challenger Pro League. Over 44 league games he recorded seven goals and added six strikes in ten UEFA Youth League outings.
His international resume features caps for Belgium’s U‑18 and U‑19 teams, underlining his reputation as a rising attacking talent. Levante’s manager Luis Castro confirmed that Musaui will report to the squad shortly and will fight for a place alongside fellow forward Eta Ayoung.
The club expects Musaui’s arrival to reshape their offensive options before the new La Liga season, as Levante continues its push to stay clear of a relegation battle that plagued the previous campaign.
