Adventure and Para Sports Get Cash Rewards Under Ladakh's 2026 Plan

Adventure sports have been explicitly incorporated into the policy. Mountaineers who successfully summit peaks above 8,000 meters anywhere in the world will receive a one‑time cash prize of ₹10 lakh. Separate special cash awards are set for athletes excelling in Paralympic Games, Asian Para Games, Commonwealth Para Games, National Para Sports Championships and Special Olympics events, ensuring inclusivity across all sporting disciplines.
