Kylian Mbappe Reaches 100 Real Madrid Goals With El Clasico Brace

Kylian Mbappé has reached 100 goals for Real Madrid, scoring twice in El Clásico at Camp Nou, but he insists the milestone is not what matters most right now.

The striker's brace helped secure a win for his side in Barcelona. It also marked his 100th goal for the club, which came in his 116th appearance.

His century of goals is made up of 67 in La Liga, 25 in the Champions League, four in the Copa del Rey, two in the Club World Cup, one in the UEFA Super Cup and one in the Spanish Super Cup.

Mbappé has been prolific throughout his time in Madrid. He scored 44 goals in his first season with the club and 42 in the following one. He has already scored 14 times in the current campaign.

Speaking after the match, he said he was delighted with the result. He acknowledged that goalscoring is something he enjoys and that it helps the team, but he said the real priority is the collective success of the squad.

“I think this is just a small matter, because the most important thing is the team's victory and the hard work of everyone,” he said. “This win will boost our confidence, and there will be many more goals, so this is not a big deal.”

Mbappé also highlighted the contribution of the whole team. He said the players were aware of the need to deliver a strong performance and that the team had done good preparation in the matches leading up to the game.

“We went out with a positive mindset and gave our all,” he said.

Since his first goal for Real Madrid in the 2024/25 UEFA Super Cup final against Atalanta, Mbappé has won the 2024/25 Golden Boot and two Pichichi Trophies, for 2024/25 and 2025/26. He was also the top scorer in the previous Champions League.

In 2025, he equalled Cristiano Ronaldo's record for the most goals in a calendar year for Real Madrid, scoring 59. He also became the highest goal scorer in World Cup history with 22 goals while representing France at the previous tournament.
