The Dalip Trophy semi‑final witnessed two standout batting displays. For North Zone, Kamran Iqbal anchored the innings with 76 runs, embellished by eleven fours, before being dismissed. His middle‑order alliance with captain Kanhaiya Vadhawan added 66 crucial runs, helping the side recover after early setbacks.

South Zone’s Tilak Varma delivered a masterclass, remaining unbeaten on 116 while crafting a 175‑run stand with Shreyas Gopal. Shreyas contributed 87 runs, hitting eleven fours, before falling short of a century.
