Bollywood star John Abraham excited to back inaugural ETPL season

Bollywood actor John Abraham said he feels honoured to be part of the ETPL, a league that has received ICC endorsement. He praised the timing of the competition, which runs through August and September, and highlighted the involvement of co‑owners such as Jonty Rhodes, Faizal Akhtar and Henrik Classen.

Abraham expressed his enthusiasm for cricket, calling it the "king of Indian sports," and said joining the league allows him to contribute to a sport he loves while partnering with the right stakeholders. He believes the ETPL will give diaspora players a genuine chance to compete at a high level and help the sport grow in new markets.
