ISL Showdown: Mohun Bagan’s Double Goal Turnaround Beats SC Delhi

The seventh league encounter of the 2026/27 ISL season saw Mohun Bagan Super Giants overturn a one‑goal deficit to defeat Sporting Club Delhi 2-1 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. Delhi opened the scoring in the 23rd minute through Lalrinliana Hnamte, who placed the ball into the lower left corner after a neat pass. The visitors fought back after the break; Lee Irwin equalised in the 56th minute, slipping the ball past Nora Fernandes from the edge of the box. Miguel Figueras then restored the lead four minutes later, finishing with his left foot after receiving a cross from Lalengmawia Ralte. Delhi’s final push in added time fell short as Hnamte’s attempt rose over the crossbar. Mohun Bagan walked away with three points.
