The Irish side set a competitive total of 241, thanks to a middle‑order partnership of 122 runs between Amy Hunter (67) and Rebecca Stokes (57). Early wickets fell at 74 for three, but the partnership steadied the innings. Lia Paul contributed a quick 32, while the bowling unit managed to claim four wickets in total, with Dianne Dotin and captain Helly Mathews each taking two.

West Indies’ chase was anchored by captain Helly Mathews, who recorded her maiden ODI century, scoring exactly 100 runs off 94 balls. She was supported by Stephanie Taylor, who remained unbeaten on 104 after 105 deliveries.
