Injury updates: Sundar, Reddy, and other bowlers eye comeback ahead of T20 clash

India’s bowling contingent has seen a mixed injury picture ahead of the Afghanistan T20 series. Washington Sundar, who was ruled out of Sri Lanka’s two‑Test series with a hamstring strain, has now passed his fitness test and is set to feature. Nitesh Reddy, who last bowled in June against Afghanistan, recovered from a left quadriceps issue that kept him away from tours of Ireland, England and Sri Lanka.

Fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah remains sidelined after a knee injury sustained while fielding in the second ODI against England.
