Infrastructure Boost Planned for Hyderabad Stadiums Ahead of Khelo India 2026

The review meeting highlighted the critical need to modernise Hyderabad’s sporting venues before the Khelo India Youth Games 2026. Officials were asked to evaluate the present state of each stadium and to implement permanent improvements that align with the scale of the event.

Special emphasis was placed on assigning clear responsibilities for infrastructure development, event management and guest amenities. Advisors including Ramakrishna Rao, SATG chairman Shiv Sena Reddy, Special Chief Secretary (Sports) Jayesh Ranjan and SATG MD Sony Bala Devi participated in the discussion, underscoring the collaborative approach required.
