Unnati Tripathi, the eighth seed, fought back after a narrow first‑game loss to claim the next three games 11-8, 11-7, 11-4 over Ananya Narayanan. Fourth seed Sanya Vats displayed control throughout her match, eliminating Scotland’s Lisa Eatkin without dropping a game.

Puja Aarti Ragu also produced a thrilling comeback, turning a deficit into a 11-5, 11-8, 8-11, 11-9 victory against fifth‑seed Nirupama Dubey.
