India’s under‑21 men’s hockey squad delivered a dominant performance against South Korea, winning the Asia Cup final 4‑1 at the Moki training base on September 13.

The opening goal arrived in the ninth minute through Ajit Yadav, with Anmol Ekka striking just four minutes later to double the margin. By the end of the first quarter, India led 2‑0. A third goal from Prabhdeep Singh in the 21st minute pushed the score to 3‑0 at halftime.

Ashu Maurya further widened the gap in the 50th minute, making it 4‑0. Although Lee Min‑hyuk answered for Korea in the 54th minute, the Indian side held firm to close out the match 4‑1.

This triumph marks India’s fourth back‑to‑back Asia Cup win, tying Pakistan’s record for three straight titles. Previously, India lifted the trophy in 2015, 2023 and 2024, reinforcing its status as the most decorated nation in the competition’s history.
