Virat Kohli, the former Indian captain, shared a Diwali‑themed photo on Instagram accompanied by a wish for endless happiness, wellbeing and positivity for his supporters and their families.

Team India’s head coach, Gautam Gambhir, kept his greeting short on X, stating that the team strives for grand victories that resonate with a billion hearts, and he added a simple “Happy Diwali.”

He invoked the infinite grace of Goddess Lakshmi and the blessings of Lord Ganesha to bring lasting peace, health and happiness to every household.

Former international keeper‑batsman Parthiv Patel reflected on the enduring nature of festive customs, noting that certain rituals never become outdated and that memorable moments turn into lifelong treasures. He sent warm Diwali wishes filled with light, love and the company of dear ones.
