Ahmedabad: India kept its momentum going on the second day of the Commonwealth Kabaddi Championship 2026, with both its men's and women's teams registering victories on Saturday. The men beat Uganda 44-30, and the women defeated Singapore 32-16 at the Veer Savarkar Sports Complex.

In the men's contest, India's disciplined defence proved decisive against a Uganda team that had been performing strongly. Uganda reduced the deficit to 3-4 in the early stages. India's women also produced a straightforward win. Sakshi scored six points to lead the team, while Renuka, Anu and Suman contributed four each. Captain Nidhi Sharma scored three. Aarti Selvan top-scored for Singapore with four points.
