India Climbs to Third in Women’s Team Golf at Asian Games

The Indian women’s golf squad improved its standing dramatically after the second round of the Asian Games. Starting the tournament tied for sixth, the team rose to third place with a combined score of seven‑under 273. The team ranking is derived from the two best individual scores posted by Indian players each day, and the recent performances of Pranavi Urs, Deeksha Dagar and Aditi Ashok have been pivotal in the ascent.

With three rounds left, the Indian contingent is poised to challenge the leaders and chase a medal, relying on consistent play and strategic shot‑making on the demanding Kasugai course.
