India’s Judokas Join Boxing Stars in Commonwealth Games Finals

Beyond the boxing ring, Indian judokas have also reached the final round at Glasgow 2026. Asmita De, competing in the women’s 48 kg category, beat Scotland’s Summer Sho 4‑0 and will face Canada’s Heidi Quach for gold.

Harsh Singh advanced from the men’s 60 kg semi‑final after a 5‑0 victory over Australia’s Pedro Carlos Entun Neto, setting up a clash with Australian Joshua Catz. Meanwhile, Yamini Maurya secured a spot in the women’s 57 kg final by overcoming South Africa’s Done Breytenbach, and will meet England’s Acelia Toporak.

Together with the five boxers already in finals, India’s judoka team is targeting a sweep of gold medals to bolster the country’s medal haul.
