India’s coaching panel reshuffled after England white‑ball series

The Board of Control for Cricket in India has confirmed a reshuffle of its coaching hierarchy after the England white‑ball series. Ryan Ten Doeschate, who served as assistant coach for batting and fielding, has departed as his contract concluded.

Doeschate joined the Indian staff when Gautam Gambhir assumed the head coach’s role after the 2024 T20 World Cup victory. During his tenure, India secured the 2025 Asia Cup and the 2026 ICC Men's T20 World Cup, cementing its status as a white‑ball powerhouse. However, the Test side faced a challenging phase, losing the Border‑Gavaskar Trophy and enduring series defeats to New Zealand and South Africa.

The BCCI will now look to fill the vacancy ahead of upcoming tours, while Doeschate is reportedly returning to franchise cricket, rekindling his connection with KKR.
