Iga Swiatek records seventh straight Cincinnati win, joins elite 6‑0 set club

Iga Swiatek continued her dominant run at the Cincinnati Open by beating Colombia’s Emiliana Arango 6-3, 6-0, marking her seventh consecutive victory at the event. The win also gave Swiatek her 30th main‑draw triumph of the season on the WTA Tour. With this result, she has now recorded 41 career 6-0 sets at the WTA 1000 level, a feat matched only by Martina Hingis (52) and Serena Williams (50) since 1990. If Swiatek can overcome Maria Sakkari in the next round, she will become the fifth active player to notch more than 100 wins at hard‑court WTA 1000 tournaments, joining Sabalenka, Karolina Pliskova, Elina Svitolina and Serena Williams.
