ICC T20I Rankings: English batsman Phil Salt makes a huge leap in men’s T20 rankings, India’s Suryakumar remains at number 1.

The International Cricket Council (ICC), the supreme body of cricket, has released the latest T20 rankings on Wednesday, in which England batsman Phil Salt has made a huge jump of 18 places.

ICC T20I Rankings: Salt, who wreaked havoc with the bat in the recently concluded five-match T20 series against West Indies, overtook Pakistan’s wicketkeeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan to occupy the second position in the list of batsmen. Salt has 802 rating points while Rizwan has 787 rating points. India’s Suryakumar Yadav remains the best T20 batsman in the world with 887 rating points. In this list, South Africa’s captain Aiden Markram (755) is at number four and Pakistan’s Babar Azam (734) is at number five. Ruturaj Gaikwad (674) is the second Indian included in the top-10 batsmen.

Let us tell you that England’s all-rounder Liam Livingstone has also benefited from good batting against West Indies and he has climbed 27 places to 38th position. Livingstone has also gained in the ranking of all-rounder. He improved four places to 8th position in the all-rounder list. He has 175 rating points in the list of all-rounders. Talking about bowlers, England’s leg spinner Adil Rashid is at the top with 726 rating points. Rashid Khan of Afghanistan remains in second place with 692 rating points.

It is noteworthy that in the list of bowlers, India’s young leg spinner Ravi Bishnoi is at the third position, who has 685 rating points. Apart from him, no other bowler is in the top-10. Afghan fast bowler Fazal Haq Farooqui is at 7th position. Apart from this, West Indies left arm spinner Akeal Hosein (683), who performed well in the T20 series against England, also benefited. He finished fourth, leaving behind Sri Lanka’s Wanindu Hasaranga (679) and Mahish Teekshana (677). Gudakesh Moti jumped 75 places while England’s Reece Topley (643) jumped 13 places to reach 10th position.
