ICC Rankings See Major Shifts After Recent Series Performances

A wave of movement rippled through the ICC men’s T20 rankings this week. Shreyas Iyer’s Lucknow hundred catapulted him three places to fourth, while Pakistan’s captain Sahibzada Farhan rose to third after his consistency against Sri Lanka. Kusal Mendis and Sherfane Rutherford each climbed three spots to land at 23rd and 24th respectively.

Bowling figures also changed dramatically. Pakistan’s young all‑rounder Maz Sadakat leapt from outside the top 100 to 45th, and West Indies pacer Rooston Chase jumped 24 places to 23rd, securing a second‑place gain in the all‑rounder column. In the bowling rankings, Pakistan’s Salman Mirza surged nine spots to 14th and teammate Sam Ayub moved eight places to 54th, underscoring a broad reshuffle across batting and bowling categories.
