Hurkacz Becomes Fourth Man to Defeat Federer, Nadal and Djokovic on Hard Courts

With his straight‑set victory over Novak Djokovic in Shanghai, Hubert Hurkacz joins an exclusive group of players who have beaten Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Djokovic on hard courts. Prior to this, only Andy Murray, Dominic Thiem and Alexander Zverev had achieved the feat. Hurkacz's composure under pressure, breaking Djokovic's serve twice and saving all break points, highlighted his growing confidence on the surface. The win also came after both players had reached the second round of the tournament in strong form, each having reached finals in recent Chinese events.
