Haryana Leaders Promise Infrastructure for Future Commonwealth Games

Haryana's chief minister, backed by the central government, announced a series of sports infrastructure projects aimed at meeting international standards. New stadiums with synthetic tracks, upgraded gymnasiums in every village, and the establishment of a sports university are part of the plan. The state government highlighted the role of yoga and mental conditioning in enhancing athlete performance. While the 2030 Games will be held in Gujarat, officials said that once the promised facilities are completed, Haryana could bid for future editions of the Commonwealth Games.
