Harmanpreet Climbs to Second on India's ODI Century List
Vadodara, October 25: A 126 from Harmanpreet Kaur in the second ODI against Zimbabwe on Sunday ended a wait of about 15 months for an international century and pushed her up India's women's ODI hundreds table.
Kaur's eighth one-day century places her second in the all-time list for Indian women in the format. Smriti Mandhana remains at the top with 14, and Mithali Raj is third with seven.
The former captain's last ODI hundred came on July 22, 2025, when she made 102 against England. Her only T20 International century was an unbeaten 103 against South Africa on June 19, 2024.
Batting first after winning the toss at the BCA Stadium, India reached 328 for six in 50 overs. The innings was built on partnerships, starting with a 124-run third-wicket stand between Kaur and Pratika Rawal off 118 balls.

The most significant stand came in the middle order. Kaur and Deepti Sharma shared 153 runs for the fifth wicket off 137 balls, the highest partnership for the fifth wicket or lower by an Indian women's pair in ODIs. It surpassed the 122-run stand of Sneh Rana and Pooja Vastrakar against Pakistan in the 2022 World Cup.
